Free seminar on latest microsoft robotic studio and microsoft development by MSP
Microsoft Robotic studio is a inovative tool developed by microsoft to facilitate simulation and designing of robotic system virtually before putting them into actual practice with much reliability and testing before doing actual investment on the designs. This seminar was free to all the IEEE members and was conducted on 11th of September 2011 by the microsoft student partners. It was a highly interactive session and had pulled a huge crowed.
HAPTICS ROBOTIC-ARM

The students were taught to build and program a robotic arm.The main objective of this workshop is to get students acquainted with the AVR which is a advanced micro-controller and introduce them the usage of exoskeletons, which will serve as an input to the robotic arm.
We received a good response from colleges in and around Nagpur across Maharashtra.
This workshop was one of its own kinds as it included programming an AVR and was based on concepts of Exoskeleton and Haptic Arm

JAZZ -BOTS
"IEEE FRATERNITY @ YCCE presented an excavating world of Robotics. The fraternity organized a 3 day workshop HOT-COMBOTS. The participants developed communicating robots, capable of communicating with other robots, computer, internet, mobile etc. The workshop was one of those few registered by the Limca Book of Records for the record of controlling 1000 robots by a single mobile. The robots made in this workshop would be included in the 1000 robots being controlled by one mobile.
An advanced module – JAZZBOTZ was also included in this 3 day workshop. Under this, students developed robots that could dance on any music being played.
The event was scheduled on 29th, 30th and 31st August 2009 at IEEE fraternity of ycce in association with LARE.
i-TRIx
IEEE fraternity @ YCCE is organized ‘iTRIx’, an advanced level workshop on robotics. The workshop was conducted by the The Robotics Institute, IIT, Powai on 9th and 10th of August, 2008. iTRIx was organized for the second time by the IEEE fraternity @ YCCE in central India. This workshop aimed at teaching the students the art of making autonomous robots. The participants worked on specially designed robotic research platform, that is, the iBOT. The workshop has received an overwhelming response from the engineering colleges across the city. Forty-four teams for the workshop have been registered from all over Vidarbha.
